Unlock hidden distance in your swing with data-driven training that maximizes your clubhead speed and efficiency
Why you're not hitting as far as you should
You watch your playing partners hit it 20-30 yards past you every hole. You're constantly hitting longer clubs into greens while they're wedging it close. It's frustrating and affects your confidence.
Lack of distance means you're hitting 5-irons into greens instead of 8-irons. This makes it nearly impossible to hit greens in regulation and score well, especially on longer courses.
You used to hit it further but have gradually lost 10, 15, or 20 yards over the years. You're not sure if it's age, technique, or equipment - but you want it back.
You've tried swinging harder and faster, but it doesn't help. In fact, trying to muscle the ball often makes things worse. There must be a smarter way to gain distance.
The science of power and efficiency
Distance comes from three key factors: clubhead speed, quality of contact, and launch conditions. Most golfers have inefficiencies in one or more of these areas that are costing them 15-30 yards without realizing it.
Your swing lacks the speed necessary for maximum distance. This could be from poor sequencing, lack of lag, insufficient rotation, or simply not using your body efficiently.
Hitting off-center costs you ball speed and distance. Even slight misses from the sweet spot can lose you 10-15 yards per shot.
Your launch angle and spin rate aren't optimized. Too low, too high, too much spin, or not enough - all of these rob you of carry distance.
Your driver loft, shaft flex, or overall club setup may not match your swing. Even a great swing can't overcome equipment that fights against you.
Precise data reveals exactly where you're losing yards
Gaining distance isn't about swinging harder - it's about swinging smarter. Trackman 4 measures everything that affects distance and shows us exactly where your yards are hiding. We'll optimize your speed, strike, and launch conditions to maximize your potential.
Track your current speed and monitor gains as we work on sequencing, tempo, and rotation. Even small speed increases create significant distance gains.
See how efficiently you're transferring energy to the ball. Poor smash factor (below 1.48 for driver) means you're losing distance even with good speed.
Discover your ideal launch angle based on your speed. Too low and you're losing carry; too high and you're creating too much spin.
Monitor spin rates to find your optimal window. Most amateur golfers spin the ball too much, robbing them of 15-20 yards of carry.
Measure whether you're hitting up or down on the ball. Driver distance is maximized with a positive attack angle (hitting up on it).
Compare your current distance to what you SHOULD be hitting based on your speed. This gap shows exactly how many yards are available to gain.
Our proven 5-step distance program
We'll establish your baseline with comprehensive Trackman testing. Hit 15-20 shots while we capture clubhead speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch angle, spin rate, and carry distance. We'll identify your biggest distance killers and calculate your distance potential.
Session 1 - 60 minutesReview your data to identify where you're losing yards. Low speed? Poor contact? Bad launch conditions? Equipment issues? We'll create a personalized plan targeting your specific distance leaks and set realistic yardage goals.
Session 1 - Review & PlanningWork on generating more clubhead speed through better sequencing, rotation, and release. We use speed training protocols and Trackman feedback to build sustainable speed gains. Most students gain 3-7 mph in this phase.
Sessions 2-3 - 60 minutes eachImprove your contact quality and optimize launch conditions. We'll work on hitting the sweet spot consistently and adjusting attack angle, setup, and tee height to maximize distance efficiency.
Sessions 4-5 - 60 minutes eachTest your driver setup with Trackman to ensure your equipment matches your swing. If needed, we'll recommend loft, shaft, or head adjustments. Final session validates your gains and creates a practice plan to maintain them.
Final Session - 60 minutesMost students gain 15-25 yards in 4-6 lessons

"I thought I'd lost distance forever due to age. Jack showed me I was hitting down on my driver and spinning it way too much. After fixing my attack angle and improving my sequencing, I gained 22 yards! Now I'm out-driving the younger guys in my group."
"I was swinging at 105 mph but only carrying it 240 yards - something was way off. Trackman showed my smash factor was only 1.42. Dan helped me improve my strike quality and suddenly I'm carrying 265. Same speed, 25 more yards!"
"The combination of speed training and launch optimization was incredible. I gained 6 mph of clubhead speed and improved my launch angle from 8° to 13°. Total gain was 28 yards and now I can reach par 5s in two!"
Everything you need to know about gaining distance
Most students gain 15-25 yards off the tee through a combination of speed gains, better contact, and optimized launch conditions. Some gain even more if they have significant equipment or technique issues. Your exact potential depends on your starting point - Trackman will show us the gap between your current distance and your potential distance based on your speed.
Absolutely not! Many of our most successful distance students are over 50. While younger golfers may have more speed potential, older golfers often gain the most yards by improving efficiency. Better strike quality, optimal launch conditions, and proper equipment can add 15-20 yards regardless of age. Plus, targeted speed training works at any age.
Not if it's done correctly! We don't ask you to swing out of your shoes. The gains come from efficiency improvements and better technique - not wild swings. In fact, many students find they're MORE accurate because better contact and optimal launch conditions create straighter shots. We track accuracy throughout the program.
Not necessarily! Most distance gains come from swing improvements, not equipment changes. However, Trackman often reveals that your current driver setup isn't ideal (wrong loft, shaft flex, or head design for your swing). If equipment changes would help, we'll show you the data and make specific recommendations. But we focus on swing changes first.
Gains from better technique and speed training are permanent once the patterns are established. We'll give you speed maintenance drills to do periodically (10-15 minutes per week) to keep your gains. Many students schedule quarterly check-ins to ensure they're maintaining their new distance, but the fundamentals we build last long-term.
Individual lessons are £55 each, or save with our lesson packages. Most students complete the distance program in 4-6 lessons. Each session includes full Trackman analysis, video review, personalized speed training drills, and progress tracking. We recommend our 4-lesson package (£200) or 6-lesson package (£280, save £50) for this program.
